I am a strong believer in a holistic approach with hands on physiotherapy and also employ dry needling (to relax deeps tissue spasms), a variety of soft tissue techniques, traction (to stretch and alleviate pressure on discs in the spine which may cause sciatica and headaches), ultrasound (to reduce swelling and inflammation in tendinous areas – tennis eblow or achilles, plantar fascitis) and shockwave (acoustic waves which carries high energy to painful musculoskeletal areas to promote regeneration of bones, tendons and soft tissues).
Here we are always very patient focused and never are rushed in our treatments and try to get the best possible outcome within each session. Generally most sessions are between 30 – 45 minutes. We also prescribe and email/print out customized exercise program to address your needs.
We also are attached to Bay Fitness Gym where we often take patients for progressive rehabilitation focused exercises to aid return to work or sport.
We are also a BUPA members First Physiotherapy Network Provider and HCF “More for Muscles” Provider. Half hour sessions which are subsidised by Medicare Enhanced Primary Care Programs are also bulk billed.
Long appointments (45 minutes) are $90, short appointments (30 minutes) are $65.
In my spare time, I am a keen touch football or cricket player and am a loving husband to wife and father to a 3 year old son.
